Our Founder

DONALD J. DE SANTO  was a school psychologist and a certified school administrator. He founded The Rugby School at Woodfield in 1977. At that time, The Rugby School at Woodfield was approved by the New Jersey State Department of Education to accept learning disabled and behaviorally challenged students.

Dolores De Santo, Mr. De Santo's daughter, assumed the role of

Executive Director in September of 2006. Together with her staff, she has continued her father's

 legacy with pride.
